Conference Topics

Paper submissions are invited on topics related to the following fields:

1. Medical ethics and deontology (professional rules, guidelines and recommendations, positive legal regulations in BiH, EU and third countries, responsibility, guidelines in treatment).
2. Medical law (Institute of Medical Law, criminal, civil, misdemeanor liability of healthcare workers, medical malpractice, liability for compensation for damages due to medical malpractice, disciplinary, ethical and moral responsibility of doctors, medical expertise in civil and criminal proceedings, procedural aspect of deciding on a complaint the patient).
3. Judicial practice (case report, importance of following guidelines, petitions of citizens/patients, alternative resolution of disputes in healthcare).
4. Clinical trials of drugs in Bosnia and Herzegovina: current conditions and possibilities.
5. Legislation and room for change (functioning of the system – advantages and disadvantages, rights, duties and responsibilities of patients, human resource management in healthcare institutions, unions and collective bargaining in healthcare, additional work of healthcare workers).
6. Protection of doctors (mechanisms and recommendations).
7. Protection of confidentiality of medical data in electronic form.
